The Artist
Samantha Ahdoot was born in Iran and spent the first 8 years of her life in a country dominated by Islamic art. From the majestic mosques embodied by hand crafted tiles of turquoise and gold to the whimsical art portraying words of Rumi and Khayyám to the Arabic and Persian calligraphy decorating the city walls, the history of the land continues to live in her...mind, body and soul. Those influences continue to find their way into her art. From her abstract paintings to her professional career as a graphic designer to her singing, songwriting and performance, she continues to follow her dharma, her dreams, her purpose.
